Meet your Accent Coach
Our lead accent coach, Jon Berton, M.A.-SLP, has his Masters of Communication with emphasis on bilingualism and three accent reduction method training certificates. Jon was mentored by the late great New York dialect coach, Sam Chwat and has worked with hundreds of clients in the Tri-State region on accent reduction and dialect modification.
Jon also helped pioneer one of the first university accent reduction classes in the United States, while serving as a faculty member at California State University, Northridge. Jon and his wife have friends and family in New Jersey, New York, Queens, and Long Island, and visit frequently. Jon is one of the most sought after accent trainers and speech consultants in the United States, and is a speech language pathologist with over 25 years experience.
